hmm.. should i say its fast or slow?
4 weeks of sch alr past..
skills test over and orientation oso over le..
tmr will be the commence of operations at TCA
for me, starting with Garde Manger, its sort of like a cold kitchen
altho the Mis En Place was like quite easy..
but chef says until like quite hard tho..
maybe its my own prob,
seriously this is the 1st time experiencing everything in the kitchen
being a junior chef... =)
i'll have to experience it tmr to know the situation le..
hopefully it's gonna be fun..

AND my lunch break is like 12:45pm everyday la..
last time used to have lunch break together de..
but now is like only with my station de peeps only..
like a bit sian tho..
sumre ours is the latest batch to go for lunch..
other stations de have lunch as early as 10:30am..

back to my skills test..
hmm.. did not do well for it ..
i tot most confident was knife skills..
but duno y i cant get my julienne cut right.. sianzz...
my assigned dish was roast chicken with pan gravy and cream of carrot soup
my soup was a dissasster.. dammmm~
i 4got muz add flour.. fking shit man...
and turn out too creamy..
the chicken was okay.. chef said he like the gravy..
glazed carrots was a bit over cooked..
whipped potato, too much nutmeg!!
broccoli, slightly over seasoned..
WTH~!!!
and the worst was late for 17min.. equals minus 17 marks i think
anyway its over la..

tired tired~~ like no life eh..
everyday go sch early in the morn, come home late,
bath, eat, rest, sleep..
this is what my life would be for the remaining sem.. =(

A Chef's Life

woo.. super tired after 3 days of prac liao
wtf man..
so early wake up until so late end
when i rch home, wash clothes, iron them,
do homework(cut carrot) Zzzz
then by the time alr like 12 or 12 plus
need at least 6-8 hrs of slp
but for me is like less than 5 hrs nia..

well.. their shoutings was better than wad i expected
similar to boot camp tho...
except no physical punishment

cooked stock, soup ytd n today..
FK!! no chicken flavour at all la..
now i realise to be a chef is not easy..
altho it may seems like piece of cake..
maybe pastry would be easier to manage??
i'll see how..

n chef's life's like..............
lunch stated 1hr BUT u only got abt 30mins to rush everything,
plus tired so need measure time to slowly walk back..
alrite until here..

looking forward to weekends..
(wish weekend was 5days, and weekdays, 2days)

anyway.. was playing maple agn..
too bored..
was actually to go in to find some1
but then nvr reply me in game..
i guess the person just dont wanna reply nia..
coz i notice the person off9 suddenly..

maybe the person's some1 is now back to maple
to accompany this person liao..
so.. dun need me anymore..

guess everything is really diff now..
usually close frens once u graduated,
the closeness will slowly become open..

after that was quite emo..
heaven doesnt give me wad i wanted for so long..

during sec sch days, its like so easy to know ppl
but now its diff..
no wonder ppl always say sec sch life is the most memorable and enjoyable..
years flew so fast that now i;m alr 21.. and still single
wondering isit a curse after my sec sch life..
and since ite till now..

went to fren;s bday last fri
and saw that most of them are attached..
and all the lovey dovey couples there..
dam..
their 21st bday were spent with their other half..
as for me.. spent with frens..
i'm not saying its bad to spent with frens
but its just that once in a lifetime thing,
shouldnt it be spend with my other half??
well.. guess heaven;s not fair to me..
perhaps.. life's nv fair.. at least for me..

thinking back.. i've been close to wad i hoped..
BUT.. it;s just gone like thin air..
still rmb those days we used to sms n tok on the phone
but its no longer the same now..
even now when we sms..
its not like those days..
the past would nv be the same again..

now i'm thinking what am i looking for?

hmm.. went back to sec sch today..
was to accompany jon to look for our VP
for the presentation for the plans..
and WTF!! 4got to bring the thumbdrive!!
but luckily there;s a copy in my email.. lol
scared the ass out of me..

ok then after that, went to see the classroom
and got to know that we have to do the cleaning n white washing!!
wtf man!!
after that the VP treated us drinks..
at 1st was abit like dun like la.. we ps ma
coz oso nvr really do anything for the VP yet and not close eh
sumre she actually wanted to treat lunch..
but actually we dun 1, coz we waiting for big feast after that!! LOL =D
smart rite? =p

afterwhich went to see my ex cca NCC Air
dam.. i can sense the standard drop alot man
since my batch last time alr like considered not really good le
but now, its worst..
i shall not comment much abt this..

then today was with my sec frens...
had a good time there at clarke quay..
and also at clinic..
but stupid weihao took all the condoms!!! dam!!

hmm.. nvr update for so super long sia..
hmm.. recently all the progress reports, quizes dateline nearing
so sian..
this sem making me feel so sux
now thinking that next yr sem1 sound fun..
coz everyday is 8-4pm
juz like working n no other modules..
so everyday go home slp, wake up, go sch, and repeat...
the only worst thing is to wake up super early in the morning
no choice.. no relative staying near my sch..

recently i notice i have say less vulgarities alr.. woots..
less doesnt mean none.. lol..
after playing the game of me saying vulgarities would cost me 5 cents
and until now alr $2+
dam.. but i'm alr trying my best..
if i nvr control, i think it would be like $10+ alr

and why do ppl emo? including myself i guess
agn recently some ppl r emo..
mayb its the "emo period"?? lol
like every yr there will be this period.. sux yo!!
also recently i have not been sms-ing ..
feels like smth missing..
but.. oh well.. i guess nvm.. since some1 dun even care..
and i'm gonna sell my HP away soon.

but it seriously sux.. (long story n lazy to explain here) lol
only friday best , go sch 9am n 2hrs can go home le..

wooo!! finally F1 is over lo
my feet are dam tired n whole body aching over
lol..
was abit thinking of giving up on the 1st day..
but lucky i still manage to complete it!!
money sake!!! $$$$$$
so i manage to obtain my cert!! woootttsss!!
sumre during the event ppl will call us chef!!
when i nvr even enter the kitchen b4 for training wor!!
at 1st is like dam weird but when they keep calling like so shiok.. hahaha
saw 2 girls quite cute de.. but guess i sure no chance la
so dun tok abt it le..
overall this experience for me is good..
feels good to work in kitchen too..
but oso can be bad.. juz tat this event we r working with nice chefs i guess
unforgettable the first Singapore Grand Prix Night Race. woots!!

yooo!! F1 is near man..
dam excited got the chance to be close to it..
at least can get to hear the sound altho i think cant really see a shit.. lol
saw stomp n ppl complaining abt jams.. as well as govt..
come on la, if these ppl r so unhappy with SG
then migrate or smth la..
i'm not SAKAH-ing the govt or wad..
but this is the Formula 1 event
aint ppl excited abt it?!!
its so grand la.. damn!!

if SG nvr get this event, ppl agn start to complain n say shits!!
okok enuf of this, nobody is perfect!!

went to meeting at Ritz Carlton ytd..
n we r deployed to the Singapore Flyer
so after briefing n trying on the chef jacket,
went to Flyer with the chefs..
went to check out where r our work stations
n oso went up to the roof of the flyer..
the roof have quite a good view for the race

wow! IR is completed le!! lol.. nah.. juz the model on the roof

so there is pic of part of the race track, flyer's cabin, n this 2 lambos at the 1st floor of Flyer..
there are some other cars like Lotus, GTR, Lancer EX, Subaru
1 thing i feel disgusted is, how come they put the subaru with these nice cars!! damn!!
n the sabaru was reversing n make a loud noise pollution!!
how can a sabaru compare to these kind of cars man.. lol..
